    O/T RIP Jerry Lee Lewis

Well reports of his death were certainly exaggerated earlier in the week but not this time around, he's definitely gone now. A Hellraiser but also a hell of a musician and any man who can survive 7 wives deserves some respect. One of the inaugural inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Not many songs have an opening line that's as broadly recognized as "You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain..."

    RIP

Deserves some respect???? He married his 13 year old niece ffs......a true p.aeodophile!

Love or like his music...7 wives and marrying a child under age absolutely sick and he obviously needed therapy but probably paid his way off through life.

CAM, ''any man who can survive 7 wives deserves some respect'' you sound like a bigot pal.

Indeed...I suppose he came from a red neck backward family so I suppose the rest of the USA forgave him.

    No, just a big O/T.

I guess JLL needed a life sentence early on in his career to teach him a lesson but beware, I'll be watching out in future for any videos you post from musicians who have lead a less than wholesome life

Oh I don’t doubt there will be loads pal and yes pull me up on them. It was your wording on 7 wife’s that cut to the quick with me. Were they ALL bad Wife’s? I bet not.

As for Michael Jackson… loved his music as a t.een/adult but again, another questionable person who paid people off.

I wasn't suggesting even one of his wife's were bad Brin, I doubt any were as JLL was the common denominator. You would have thought that anyone would give marriage up as a bad job (and an expensive one) after 3,4,5 attempts but giving it 7 chances deserves some recognition even if not respect

I thought it was his cousin he married, and it was legal in the state they were from. Anyways, it caused a storm when toured Britain.
As for the music, he was a pioneer, and made the piano at the forefront of rock n roll.

    Yes " local rules"

Like many in Qatar who abhor homo***uality

Plus many in Iran that are happy with " dress code"

Yet we superior Brits want to interfere.

I did have something in common with the " Killer" . Apparently he got his nickname for attempting to murder his school teacher... a fantasy that crossed my mind on a couple of occasions.
