Tranmere Rovers away Saturday 29th October

If you're going to Prenton Park
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you're going to Prenton Park
You're gonna meet some gentle people there

For those who come to Prenton Park
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets near Prenton Park
Gentle people with flowers in their hair

Ive been to Prenton Park, there are no gentle people there. Liverpudlians murder Italians, their own children, many wakes have been held at Goodison park and Anfield, and their own fans. Liverpool is a dirty stinking hole.

Carlisle United supporters are aware that when this fixture was played last season there was total hostility from Tranmere on the pitch, by officials of the club and in the crowd. The first post is an ironic reference to that.

Today's match will be of 15 rounds of 6 minutes duration. It can be won on a knockout or by disqualification if there is any punching below the belt. If it goes the full distance the judges' scorecards will decide the winner.

Well well what do we know eh,Tranmere had one of those off days and Carlisle know all about them dont we.Mr Simpson will be pleased with that probably played better than what he expected if he was honest. To me the team was'alive' throughout which makes a hell of a difference and a early goal owt can happen.

Micky Mellon must really lift the spirits in team talks.

Poor Birkenhead b*stards. They all sound so depressed.

Never mind..Stockport next and then Carlisle away!

    D:Ream Micky....things can only get better.........................not.

'Things Can Only Get Better' is the only D:Ream track on which the then merely Brian Cox did not play keyboard. On the day that it was recorded he was playing truant down the road at Manchester University's physics department. It is not him in the video in the above post.
However he did 'play' on 'Things Can Only Get Better' on Top Of The Pops.
