This is an honest team in the sense that individually they are prepared to give all that they have got, to be totally shagged out at the end. If they play Saturday / Tuesday / Saturday this honesty produces a deterioration in performance in the 2nd or 3rd match even in comparison with opposition that has also played the same fixture pattern.

So, how many more Tuesday matches are in our schedule between now and the end of season? Well, there is one on 8th November, another on 14th February and another on 18th April. That's it for Tuesdays and there are none on Wednesdays.

However, in December after 8 days with no match we have matches on Monday 26th, Thursday 29th and Sunday 1st January. At Easter we have matches on Friday 7th April and Monday 10th April.

Of course we like it that they give all that they have got for the whole match. I was therefore pleased that in the 54th minute the second goal was scored. That made it possible to just ever so slightly adjust the attitude. I have always said that getting a match won as early as possible helps to get the next match won because in the first match the team is not 'going into the red zone' of effort in the final 10 minutes.
