    Ajayi and Dike

Reading reports that both Ajayi and Dike may be fit enough for selection before the international break. I know Ajayi's performances varied but would be glad to have him back as an option. In the very brief glimpses we got of Dike he looked promising too. Neither will likely be a miracle cure of course but the more options we have the better.

Regardless of the possibility of these two becoming available or not, the main focus at the moment should be on competitiveness. Corberan needs to get them all to understanding the precariousness of our position and the need to start to fight for our survival.

I spoke to Dike on Saturday, I asked him when he would be back and he said next week, think he meant back in full training.

Back just in time for the International break ... which lasts six weeks. Maybe they will be available for the Xmas Programme.

To be honest though, both would be a welcome addition to the squad as it currently stands.

Dike will get injured as soon as he starts playing for us again.

He’s exactly the same as Anichebe was, a walking “hamstring” injury.

Maybe he meant that he would be back in McDonalds next week!
