I do indeed remember her; I went to see her in Birmingham, can’t remember the year, and I hadn’t heard much of her stuff at that time but she was renowned for having a very good band. She did indeed have a very good backing band and she was terrific. She’s still touring.

That's the one of hers I remember too and a more rockier sound. She had a great voice and can't fault the musicianship of her live band but most of her softer stuff wasn't for me although "Stay with me till dawn" I thought was good. I seem to remember her touring during the 80s but never heard much more from her after that one hit single, although I understand she has continued making albums for various labels over the years.
