    Wink Bring on the *******s

So, Sunday is approaching and time is dragging its heels making it feel el lanclassico is a month away.

    the questions are;

what time are you hitting the boozer?
    how confident are we clarets?
any concerns or preconceptions around the removal of the "bubble travel"?

I only have a couple when I'm with the family and we are going to the Remembrance Service prior to the game so that's not relevant for me.
I think 2-0 to us, youngest grandson says, "Easy Peasy" - 5-0 to us.
Any eejits in blue and white threaten us, and I can assure you it will not end well. I think it's likely most of Lancashire and GMP bizzies will be attendance in Burnley on Sunday morning.
I want to see their little faces...

Just hoping for a good game of football and the clarets as winners and that would do me , I’m too old for bother and I’ll have my old dad with me anyway.

Hopefully it passes off with no bother and a good win.

Hope that we win, hope that there is no trouble but will not be following it anyway because I shall be with old friends and remembering many old friends who have perished whilst doing their duty for the country.
It's just another game of football which will take place regardless.

Good luck to all attending, stay safe.

9 am start for a lot of my wider social network and i'm very tempted to get on board with that as i'm just so excited

I work with a few bas*ard fans for the first time and I really really really don't want to have to go into work and face them if they manage to get one over us, I would absolutely love to give them a good hiding a 4 or 5 goal thumping but i think 2-1 to us for my prediction

I obviously hope the game passes without incident and that both sets of fans show respect and decency around the town centre with the parade / silence taking place. but i worry there will be a few neanderthals from both clubs that might ruin it for the majority

Remember that the neanderthals intent on acting like idiots will only ruin it for the majority in the eyes of the media who will make a very big thing of it.
However, the majority will have behaved responsibly and with dignity and they can not be held responsible for anything that anyone else does, whether it is making trouble at football matches or flying planes with banners etc.

The town or towns get labelled as this, that or the other and the media love it, however, if your brother, sister, son, daughter or neighbour commits murder they take the consequence and you are in no way to blame for their actions. Why is it so different because you support a football team who have a minority intent on making trouble?

    Answer ---the media!!

It's the other way round barrie. The lad is hyper all of the time, he wears me out in the best possible way. I constantly get texts and emails from him. "What time am I picking him up, what time's kick-off, what's the team?" and on and on.

The media are only interested in bad news. Headline «*fans behave impeccably*» doesn’t sell newspapers etc.

The silent majority is never reported on. Let’s hope that the media can comment on is the match itself.

I hope too that the players will keep their heads. We don’t need serious injuries and suspensions. It will be passionate, of that I’m sure.
