We are in real trouble now

Albion's minority shareholders have received a letter from WBA Group of their intention to take out a loan from MSD. Proposal invites shareholders to vote on the matter but that the Resolution will be passed, with Lai being the majority shareholder

So it looks like he, in a round about way he is taking a loan to pay the other loans back at 9% interest or more likely to take the money for himself

    I agree Dave.

Lai is betting OUR house on promotion this year in taking out such a ridiculously expensive loan.

Very depressing news on top of what I found to be a very depressing result.

Despite recent results, I don't think there's enough pace and youth within this group for a sustained challenge, and believe CC et all know it. OK, he's got a lot more out of a stale group, but results have been good against mainly inferior teams. I don't think he would have joined unless there were solid assurances of further finances next month to assist a rebuild. Expecting some surprises next month both incoming and outgoing, as staying still will definately not be an option for CC. .
