I'd class this game in the must not lose category rather than a must win although obviously the three points would be a huge boost to our play off chances .

Bolton seem to be in the same camp as ourselves , well organised and drilled but don't score a lot of goals .

Quite clearly this is going to be a tight game of few chances and there's every chance both sides will simply cancel one another out .

What's needed on Monday is a good and strong competent referee given the history so far this season between the two clubs which could end up a very tasty affair with cards flying left , right and centre .

I'd take a point right now if offered before we break for the FA cup .

After getting a decent referee, the next thing we need is our strikers to be clinical. I don't think there will be many goalscoring opportunities in this game. I would also take a point but a 1-0 win would be absolutely fantastic as it would open up the gap between us and them. Glad it's on iFollow.

I watched the Bolton v Derby game the other day and both sides just cancelled one another out with chances at a premium .

Derby managed to keep the Bolton lad Bradley quiet who plays wide right and looked a very good player from our earlier encounter at Bolton .

Cadden is going to have to keep an eye on him which may impact his ability to get up the pitch .

Very very little in my opinion between ourselves , Bolton and Derby and my gut instinct tells me we are going to be facing at least one of these teams in the play offs if not both .

It's imperative neither gain a physiological edge over us even at this stage of the season .

Let’s be honest the standard of refs in league 1 & 2 is always poor! The better refs get better games it’s that simple.
I agree it’s a must not lose game, we have taken a point at their place and done them in the cup, if we don’t lose and get them in the play off’s they will be thinking “we haven’t beat these in 3 games”
It could end up 0-0 this but whoever scores first wins for me!

Tomorrows referee is Seb Stockbridge which may not mean too much to many of us .

However .....

He was the referee in that explosive League One encounter we had with Fleetwood Town at the back end of Stendel's promotion season at Oakwell .

Fleetwood came out in that second half to kick us off the park and he sent the Fleetwood centre half off but the game was simmering all that second half none the less .

It didn't end there either when Barton knocked Daniel's front teeth out in the tunnel afterwards .

Interesting afternoon ahead !!
