    Guardiola, Arteta and Kompany

Both Arteta and Kompany spent a bit of time working under/ alongside Guardiola. Now both of them manage teams who are both top of their respective leagues. On top of that, both teams look as though they are going to win their leagues( touch wood) by playing open attractive football, along the way.
Guardiola , therefore, must be some kind of wizard ,passing on his knowledge and wealth of experience, to two ex Citeh employees ,who appear to be putting what they’ve learnt over the past few years , to good use. Both sets of fans appear happy with the brand of football that they are watching, also with the amount of wins both clubs have accumulated, up till now. Fingers crossed for the rest of the season.
Anyone got any thoughts on this subject. ? it cannot have gone unnoticed)

Disciples of the Guardiola Movement I'd say malwayne.

Every time I hear VK open his mouth he reminds me more and more of Guardiola.

The job VK is doing at Burnley is remarkable in the extreme and after watching Arsenal dismantle Tottenham this afternoon, the apprentice has caught the Master.

I mentioned the very same thing myself a couple of months ago Mal, it was after reading a report that Barcelona were considering Arteta as their next manager. It seems obvious to me that should Pep leave City or Arteta leave Arsenal, then VK will be one of the favourites to take on either job, whichever comes up first.

I’m admiring the work VK is doing at the club. But he has not done enough to manage one of the top 3 teams in the PL yet. I understand the comparison but don’t agree on the conclusion. Arteta is doing better than any was even hoping he would. He has been managing top top players together with Pep. VK has managed youth players...

Today I was listening to city callers on talk sport and the presenters debating that Guardiola is a spent force. Teams have sussed out how to play against that style of play and it's had it's time

    Lets hope not :/

City & Liverpool are both presently lacking energy and dynamism. God only knows what is going on at Chelsea. Pep will sort it but I'm not sure Klippity and Harry Potter can.

How much is enough Will ? 265 games for Manchester City, including 3 seasons playing for Pep, 89 caps for Belgium, over 120 games in charge of Anderlecht and Burnley. He already has vastly more experience than Pep had when he took over at Barcelona or Arteta had when he took over at Arsenal, and he's proved his teams can play the way City and Arsenal want their teams to play. If he isn't managing City or Arsenal in the next couple of years, he'll be managing another top club somewhere in Europe. Or he may have us in the PL top 6 and decide to stay here.

"Or he may have us in the PL top 6 and decide to stay here."

No idea if this was tongue in the cheek sinkov, but I said exactly the same to a couple of Burnley fans who we ran across today in Boundary Mill.

With VK I really believe anything is possible.

And of course Pep is a disciple of Johan is he not:
"Pep Guardiola, who played under Johan Cruyff at Barcelona, constantly called the Dutchman for advice as a manager. He was unique, totally unique, Pep Guardiola says of Johan Cruyff on a quiet Thursday afternoon in London. Without him I wouldn’t be here."

We'll crash and burn eventually, but who knows how far we can go with VK. After what he's achieved in just 6 months, as you say, absolutely anything is possible.
