    Garner’s back

18 month deal. Worst kept secret for a while. Good luck to him, we should have now enough strike-power to get us through the season.

Took its time, from when the rumours started.

We look like a football team, for the 1st time in years: we are in a good position so let’s see what happens.

Will Garner and Dennis play together or will it be one starting, one on the bench? Then after a couple of matches change around. Maybe one will play for an hour and another for the final half hour.

They are both going to get significant opportunity to play in our run of 7 matches in 26 days starting tomorrow.

There is also Edmondson so our centre striking player should not get fatigued.

Perhaps Garner will not be prolific but he should at least be a good 'holding up' option, giving our defence
a bit of time to draw breath. He also knows a few 'dark arts', which this squad currently lacks a knowledge
of. If the opposition consists of cunts Garner will be able to match that and teach the squad how to cope.
