Well Jan transfer window is almost upon us. There are probably a number of players who could be released/sold. But my concern is the central forward position. In the last few games both JRod and Ash have been passengers. Over the years they have both been good servants but now they hardly contribute to our playing style and although they have scored some goals I think there time is up. I am some what confused with the Scott Twine situation, especially when we changed JRod for Ash with Scott remaining on the bench when we were 2 up. It indicates that there is still something not right with Scott - is it lack of fitness, is it injury or is it something else we are not aware of - or is it simply he is not showing as good enough in training. It is becoming time for him to start to contribute or maybe we should get rid and find someone is is more robust enough to withstand the rough and tumble of the Championship. I more than wish for Scott to be able to play to show his abilities and become a good player for us but I am thinking there is something not right because if he were fit and good enough VK would almost certainly had him in.
You can probably guess that IMO we should be looking to bring in a good prospective central forward

I listen very alertly to what VK says pre and post match. Nobody gets a "free" pass to play and he constantly alludes to how a player performs in training which bears greatly on whether or not he's in the first team. That answers the Twine position I think.
It's the Tella situation that concerns me the most. Barnes and Jay Rod can pi$$ playing in the Championship but if our young Turk goes back to Brentford and the Saints recall Tella - it's deep do-do time I think.
Everything looks OK to me. It will be a shame if Tella goes but that gives Twine the opportunity to step up, so no problem there. Only 4 players have scored more than Jay, so the idea that he's a passenger is bizarre, and would we really be 13 points clear of the 4th placed team if we were playing with ten men ? I don't think so.
I think we should carry on as we are, incorporate Twine into the team if Tella goes and let the other 23 do the worrying.

Jay has started 19 games this season and has been on the winnig side 12 times and drawn the other 7, he has scored 9 and has 1 assist.
Not bad with 43 points won from a total of 50. He has a good football brain and takes a lot of the physical bashing that someone has to take because one or two players are still very lightweight, although they are getting better.
Let's not write off players before they have actually played. A season?
If you are referring to the Scott Twine situation Warminster I quite agree. There has been a lot of speculation about why Scott has hardly featured this season but until we see him in action at Championship level for a meaningful period of games we should in all fairness reserve judgement. All we can say for certain at the moment is that VK is not picking him in his starting eleven.
