I was more of a Frank Bough and Grandstand fan but rest in peace Dickie.

Remember watching old Dickie regular as a kid whilst visiting my Grandparents on a Saturday afternoon. Grandad made sure I was quiet when the results were being read out 😄

I think it was the wrestling more than anything that captivated me as I thought they were really trying to hurt each other and Dickie made it sound so real. He had a smooth tone to his voice and always had a smilie face.
