Having paid for it I'm having to watch on a Firestick with a wobble commentating. Shoddy.
According to our Twitter feed..
For those tuning in on iFollow, video and audio streams via desktop are currently down.
There are live and available via the EFL App, which you can download for free ✅

It's them aliens. We shot down one of their ships so they're targeting iFollow.
Go on EFL site .... and it directs you back to the CUFC site, ****ers
Do you look like scoring 🤞
I’ve got it on the iFollow app
I got the first minute on the Firestick having failed through the Carlisle site on VPN. Then it went down. Annoying having paid but it meant that I didn’t feel guilty trying to get it on the stick. I eventually reinstalled the iFollow app and it was working so that’s how I watched it. I originally bought the game from, ahem, Cyprus and watched it from Belgium, if you see what I mean. VPNs work.

It's all very confusing. I had no option to pay with ifollow (via CUFC website) other than audio only which I could get by switching on Radio Cumbria (which I did in the end). I've only found one route using the firestick which uses a VPN (I think). That offered all games in L2 but none of them were working. Very frustrating. As an OAP I just can't afford all the home matches let alone the away ones. Had a season ticket throughout my working life and beyond but I need to eat and heat as well so something has to give.
Any suggestions Griff?

I’ll give a general reply about my approach to how away games can be watched. Firstly, I ALWAYS PAY. The Firestick is for emergencies only, think of it as a convenient backup. The EFL don’t allow Saturday 3 p.m. games to be shown on iFollow unless you are abroad. This means that people who can’t or won’t attend away games for whatever reason aren’t allowed to watch; they’re effectively disenfranchised. This includes anyone who can’t afford to travel to away games, some disabled folk, those with other commitments etc, all of whom may be willing to pay a tenner to watch from (in yesterday’s case) 300 miles away. It’s extra viewers and extra money down the drain.
So, anyone wanting to watch can’t be in the UK. What some folk do is sign up for a VPN inside which you can change your ip address to one in another country, from where the video stream of the game can be bought in local currency. This is typically 11 Euros in Europe. The game can then be watched from a foreign ip address.
