Humza Yousef was hopeless as the Transport Minister.
He attended a Calmac ferry summit on Islay on 1st April 2017 arranged by Brendan O’Hara the SNP MP for Argyll and Bute which was just another ‘jolly’ and ‘talking shop’.
After the Calmac ferry summit Yousef travelled to hold a meeting on the nearby island of Jura despite people on Islay wanting Yousef to hold a meeting with them about the ongoing Calmac ferry crisis on the Kennacraig to Islay route at that time.
Yousef took the easy option to hold his meeting in Jura which has a resident population of 200 people and the local residents would not ask awkward questions about their ferry service as it was operated by Argyll and Bute Council not Calmac.
After Yousef’s meeting on Jura he returned back to Islay and left on the evening sailing from Islay to Kennacraig to avoid having a public meeting on Islay because he did not want to face complaints.
Yet another useless politician.
