Having watched the highlights, at 40 he was just superb, some of the saves were breathtaking, just goes to show how blinkered we are, Foster should have played the whole season for us, criminal

Just watched the highlights as well Bomber and couldn't agree more. Some of the saves were outstanding and the penalty save at the death was the Foster of old. It was good to watch a game of so much intensity rather than the drab performances we serve up at the moment.

While I have always rated Foster highly and consider him one of, if not the best Albion ‘keepers in my many years of supporting the Baggies, I believe we’re correct in giving both Palmer and Griffiths their chance. Palmer looks to have a bright future and Griffiths is still young with potential. We moan about not giving youngsters a chance so we have to be consistent in our views.

It looks evident that we will be in the Championship next year and will need to get rid of those players who are past their best come the end of the season. Livermore, Pieters, Bryan, Button, Bartley should leave. I would also get rid of Grant and possibly Ajaye. I would keep Diangana, Reach and Phillips. We need to bring back the likes of Caleb Taylor who looks to be the real deal. Corberon will then have the opportunity to bring in the type of player that he wants.

And just look at the passion Ryan Reynolds’s has for the club, the game. We can only dream of an owner like that. I hope they get in the Prem and become one of the “top six” they deserve it.

I agree Leics buddy. I’ve a feeling that the selection of players who are to be disposed of may well be driven by the financial and contractual implications. That may not be a bad thing from a playing viewpoint !

Griffiths or Foster! Griffiths for the future but easily Foster for NOW! A pub keeper would not have f ucked up that second goal on Saturday and there’s others Palmer probably would have saved!

Palmer is fit so Corberon must be a moron not to start him! Play your best eleven FFS!!!!
