Away league records set this season

Most Away wins in a League season: 15 - equalling the 15 won in 1997/98

Fewest Away defeats in a League season: 2 (beating the 3 lost in 1997/98)

Most Away goals scored in a League season: 63 (beating the 41 scored in 1997/98)

Best average Away goals per game: 2.74 (beating the 2.13 average set way back in 1896/97)

    Ongoing record
Consecutive Away League games scored: 29 today (smashing the 17 set in November 1999)

It's almost a shame that we can't play the semi final away.

Those stats and records and simply outstanding.

Well, it's yet another away win, albeit versus feeble opposition, and JOB gets a hat-trick... a surreal end to an incredible season.
Serious question: is this our best ever away record?

Great stats & good reading after our away form the past 3 seasons the reason we are still in the conference (Wembley is away so great place to finish off the records).
I'm sure Upthemaggies is the man to ask so If notts win against York next week I think that will be 12 Home & Away doubles completed in the season - Is that a record for Notts? (or possibly for any team)

It is yes, beating the 1997/98 season by the one extra draw and the one fewer loss.

11 so far this season is definitely a record for Notts, looks like 8 was our previous best, jointly held. Not sure about any other team but Wrexham are also on 11 this season and could go to 12 if they beat Torquay.

We can't get the record for any club on league doubles, 13 is the record shared by Liverpool, Man City and.... wait for it.... Doncaster Rovers.
