    Youth Alliance Cup Final Now

    Mk dons v Rotherham

I would’ve gone if it was at home, might have gone if it was at a mutual ground but I wasn’t going to MK.

    Currently MK a 1 up

Come on Millers you can do it.

Does this mean there has been a bit of an upturn in academy quality?

Sadly the team were told last week who are being retained and who were not being given contracts. Only 3 from that starting 11 are being retained. ☹️. Not the best prep for a cup final

On the face of it, that does not appear to be good timing.

However, there will be scouting parties from other clubs at this match and that should be an incentive for any unretained players to show what they can do and give an unsure to their attitude.

What a shame we can’t run a full academy with its own set up like the bigger clubs. Own pitch own budget etc. Maybe that might give the other players we have said no to may have been better developed.

Thing is we are a small club in the football world and we bring through who we can.
