    e-tickets/smartphone

Spurred on by the mention of this new internet fangled thing (see Thread: Playoff Semi Final Tickets) I've bought two tickets for Saturday's game and have a thing called PDF which I could print but it shows nice pictures and some bar codes on the smartphone.

Is the smartphone reliable to gain entry, and do I scan a view of both tickets on one screen (seems rather small) or do one at a time? Or should I print them out? If so is mono ok or do I have to use colour?

PS Who wrote the T&C's that include needing my "driving license" for proof of age! We're not owned by Hollywood

Grrr. The creeping Americanisation is everywhere. It's 'likely' written by a US tech firm's lawyers. Or a 'Wrexham Red Dragons' fan from Idaho.

Took me a while not to take the printed bit of paper, especially with boarding passes at airports but now I always use my 1987 Nokia phone. Sometimes you have to zoom in a bit to get the barcode to read, but the turnstile operators are pretty good at assisting.

Although if you do have a problem and hear some expletives behind you in the queue, that will probably be me!

Damn, I've just upgraded to the 3310, should still work though?

Ah, so it's only the Black & White stripes they are interested in.

Don't picture you as being a Pavis type.

Never tried using the e-ticket from my mobile phone screen, normally print mine out. It takes all of 10 seconds to do. One thing I have noticed though, if there's ever a "bottleneck" in the queue, it quite often some person who's struggling to have his mob phone read.

BTW, mono or black and white is fine, my printer is about on it's last legs and the ticket comes out in all sorts of strange colours. It's only the bar code that they need.

Works a lot better on your phone if you download the ticket pdf, as opposed to the image that comes up when you open the attachment (zooms better).

Still waiting for the apple/android pay season tickets we were promised at the start of the season. Little tip, though, take a photo of your season ticket barcode, works if you ever forget your ST.
