The story going round is the owners of Wrexham want Gareth Bale to come out of retirement for one last season in division 2?
This did feel a bit tongue in cheek.

Any publicity is good publicity… clever lads these two actors.
I get why players like Mullin are willing to play well below their level because Wrexham currently provides fame and fortune in a way that no L1 side could. So for lower-league footballers, it's a completely unique opportunity to become a celebrity for a few years (not that I'd like that myself). But I can't see why a player like Gareth Bale, who has played for Real Madrid under Zidane and won the Champions League, would have his head turned by a couple of Hollywood actors and the promise of being in a Netflix documentary.
Foster is different because he was already doing the whole social media thing, so his mindset was already about getting maximum exposure, likes, and views. Once you're on that path, there's very little you won't do for more 'engagement.'
You need to understand FFP..It has already been stated many times that we are in an excellent position because our revenue is so high.
This means we can pay higher wages for key players without breaking any rules.
And whether you like or not players want to come and play for Wrexham and Shaun Harvey and Les Reed have already been bombarded with requests from agents to sign certain players.
Good luck in the play offs I hope you win them
