    City the real deal

After watching Man City reduce Real Madrid to tears last night I have to say they are the best footballing team I’ve seen ( Ive seen some good teams and players ) but nothing like this lot , yes they have brilliant individuals but the whole set up
From keeper to centre forward is synchronised in a such away that the analogy a well
Oiled machine fits perfectly for them.

Pep is a genius as I believe it’s his formations that destroy teams and his confidence to take players from their comfort zones - John Stones for example playing midfield and running in behind - spraying passes - interceptions - I knew he was good but not this good.

Anyway my thing is I think City could be the greatest football team I’ve ever seen - at full flow it’s a delight to watch, simply untouchable

The best in Europe swept aside - the best in premiership swept aside - it doesn’t matter how teams play toe to toe they destroy you - sit back 10 behind ball they find a way and destroy you

    Simply breathtaking for me anyway.

No point in playing 10 man defense against City. Man to man might work but where do you find the 10 who could do it? I don't know if BT is
a comedian or a crazy optimist.

It’s very difficult to compare teams from different eras., when you look at Man Utd teams in the 90’s or Liverpool in the 70’s and 80’s to some degree. Certainly they are the best around today , and it’s going to be interesting over the next few weeks to see what ends up in the trophy cabinet. The league looks a formality, but in the other two finals, I am sure Pep will give their opponents plenty of respect. It seems to me that most of their opposition are beat before the game even starts, especially when you look at their subs bench. There’s not a weak link anywhere. I hope they go on to win the three competitions they are chasing,to cap a fine season, especially the Champions League. It’s about time we showed the rest of Europe, we have teams that can compete with anything on the planet-

Pep has got Grealish looking like a world beater and Stones is playing out of this world stuff. I'm not sure VK will even want to take over when Pep eventually leaves the Etihad.

Trouble is there are only 3 city players who are English.

Stones, Grealish, Foden, Walker, Lewis, Palmer, I think that's it.
