Me: Barsley, what League are they in?
Him: Read again, it says Barnsley numbnuts
Me: It does now you've edited it, dickhead (I included a shot of the edit including the time the original post was made and the edit)

He PMs me with "Ya cock, what's your problem". I say - It's a banter page. You cock up, I take the piss, you edit to try and make me look daft, I post evidence of the edit and then you ask what MY problem is? His reply includes the word moron. Turns out he's an Admin on the page so now I can't access it anymore as he's apparently thrown me off the*member*list*😂

Nice chap, apparently ex Army, who doesn't appear to get what banter is... you'd think a few years as a squaddie would have given him plenty of wit and repartee to battle with...

Those ‘banter’ sites are anything but and are polluted by a) folk with no understanding of what banter is (your fellah) or b) glory merchants who just want to brag off their (probably recently acquired) successful team with no alternative view / banter tolerated.

It's not uncommon for the 5:00 pm final scores reader to substitute Barnly for Barnsley or Burnsley for Burnley. Maybe he doesn't know, or care, which division they're in but either way he must be a scream when engaging in banter.
