    Leo Hjelde

Well seeing that’s Leeds are down I can’t see him coming back here if we wanted him

Thanks for everything and good luck next season but remember not to be too good against us

I'm not so sure millertop. Because Leeds have been relegated I think they'll be off loading a few players to save on wages so I reckon we might stand a chance of signing him on a permanent basis, hopefully.

I reckon there’s a good chance he’ll be in the Leeds team. Their current left back Firpo is unpopular with the fans and they wouldn’t be sorry to see him go so Hjelde might just get his chance.

He’s done well and benefited from playing time. Leeds are in a real mess. No obvious owner, no DOF, no manager and over priced players not worthy of the shirt will be sold. I think that’s good news for Leo. Firpo is diabolical. I hope Charlie Cresswell (C stays after his loan spell at Millwall but if he doesn’t and Rotherham can break their transfer record he would be an immense buy. Young and plenty of grit determination and ability.
Can’t believe we are playing you next season but we’ve been raped again and little old Rotherham deserve every success they achieve. Hopefully that includes wuppin the reserves at Wendy!
    All the best

Paceman, Cheers for that. As regarding Hjelde, yes he’s an exciting young player but is very too over ambitious to prove himself by diving in too early. This was shown a few times last season. Yes he’s naive but as he grows he can iron this out of his game if shown how.

I understand Leeds paid Celtic £1,000,000 for him and I feel if we wish to show intention for the future then it may well cost this sum to secure his services.

All the best for next season but only behind us 😉

If they were to sell then no chance he’d come to us, bigger clubs will be lining up

Leo looks a real prospect, but he was rightly dropped by Taylor towards the end of the season.
Right from the start he would miss-time his tackles, and players would breeze past him.
This was something he kept doing, obviously a lack of experience or just over enthusiasm, but he needs to cut this out of his game, because the rest of his game was very good for one so young.
    I'd have him back.

Yes I'd agree with this. Was caught out of position too many times as well.
But...as you say other aspects were good and with a summer of coaching on his shortcomings could see a top player emerge.
Just to add that before he came to us he'd made zero appearances for celtic and only 2 for Leeds so obviously a bit raw

I'd have him back too, just pointing out where he can improve that's all

We could only get him on loan again if Leeds hadn't have gone down maybe try to get him back but that would be 2 games he couldn't play so it's a no.
