    OT New james Album

Out this Friday and I am really looking forward to it.

22 of their tracks re-imagined with a 22 piece orchestra and 8 piece choir.

I am a massive fan of theirs and if you have seen them live you will know why.

Only wish Getting Away with It was on the album - They have been doing it live a lot.

I'm a massive James fan and Getting Away with it is possibly my favourite with Sometimes a close second.
Got the album on pre-order although it's a little bit bitter sweet waiting for it now.

I had tickets for the cleverly named James Lasted Orchestral tour in Nottingham last month, got to the venue only to find it'd been pulled due Tim not being well along with the gig in Bath.
Possibly to try to get him right for the final date at the Royal Albert Hall which went ahead.

They've got form too, the last time they touredvwith an orchestra and choir, I had tickets.
    In Nottingham......
Show postponed due to Tim being ill.
    Bloody jinxed I am.

They dud reschedule for later in the year but that was without the orchestra and choir

Still good though. They are one of my favourite live bands ever.

Hopefully seeing them next month at Halifax Piece Hall, but again it's with the orchestra, I think it's one of the warm uo shows fjrvtheir festival dates

I’m going to that as well. It’s a cracking venue.

Saw them support The Smiths at the De Montford Hall in Leicester in 1985. That just shows how old I'am and what a gig that would be today. That would be Wembley Stadium level!

I must be even older. Did a gig there in 1982 and had hundreds, maybe thousands clapping and cheering me on. It was the University graduation

Music has been a great tool that I've used in my recovery from the stroke. I still can't sing a song nor neither do I know the words until I'm prompted.

I hadn't remembered about James until now!
