    What's our bloody budget !!!!!!

All I keep reading is this SH!T that we have a budget of 75 million ??!!

Are they taking the PISS? How on earth are we to build a stronger, bigger squad with those peanuts? That buys one top player at best, with another B grade player.

Not happy with this FFP rules - hope the others (KLOPP, ERIK, ARTETA, PEP, GOOD EVENING etc, are all facing the same budget).

Chill ya beans, Andy, it's all good.

Literally no-one outside the club knows what our budget is-all the journos are just guessing and the ITKs know the sum totall of fuck all.

Mind, it might not be as much as we might have expected. FFP is designed to keep upstarts like us at bay while the traditional big 6 get their act together-Chelsea spending almost £600 million being one example. And if that Saudi fella takes over Man U, I think the way FFP works, they'll be able to spend half a billion quid without so much as a murmur from UEFA.

The Saudi bloke is Qatari, not Saudi. The Qatar philosophy is the PSG template. Buy the names, the prestige not the team playing development talent.

Ten Pence is a cowardly fraud of a manager, combine him with a bunch of over paid big heads =recipe for a solid 6-8th place finish.

I don't care about Man U. I focus on Newcastle United.

We don't have a budget. We have excellent commercial professionals who will enable spending to meet our needs.
The constant reporting of low budgets is to temper the selling clubs we are working to sign players from to ensure we don't get 'Man Utd'd'. The red filth constantly over pay for bang average players like Antony etc. That is because everyone knows how big their revenue streams are.
We will work hard behind the scenes to get the right players in for the right prices.

Don't get wound up by reports it's just noise. No one knows what we are capable. No info is coming out of the club unless it's info that the board want leaked to set the clubs agenda.

We are in great shape, solid pair of hands in every position within the club. Just relax, take a breath and it will all come good ahead of pre-season kick off.

Thanks mate! That sets my mind at ease, as the more S H I T that I read online, the more agitated I get - I think a few beers will settle my nerves, plus a valium

Raga’s right: there isn’t a transfer budget as such. As Chelsea have shown; if I buy a player for 50 million on ten year contract then I‘ve only used (50/10=5 million of this year’s transfer budget. If I buy the same player for the same price on a 5 year contract then I’ve spent 10 million of this year’s budget.
Remembering this, 75 million for this year’s budget isn’t a bad number. The problem comes in future years where transfer activity will be restricted if you have trouble selling players.
There could be some bargains to be had at Chelsea in the next few windows.
