    Lords Test Match

Our lads are giving it large again, but I worry for them. Australia have the top three batsmen in world cricket, all three missed out at Edgbaston, but they still won. They're not all going to miss out again. How we win this I have no idea.

We are going into the Test shorn of spin and without our best keeper. Carey was absolutely immaculate behind the stumps for the Aussies whilst Bairstow made crucial errors. Anderson was not at his best at Edgbaston but we are relying on an all seam attack at Lords. Australia are clear favourites for this one.

If we were not such an elitist, racist, s-e-x-ist & misogynistic set of barstewards we might have a better chance eh Sir Outwood.

Seen the headline mon ami, no point going further, as Alison Pearson says in the Telegraph,

"A report written by politically correct bores isn’t going to convince me that cricket is racist
Cricket is one of the great solvents of racial tension, I think – but then I am not a professional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion official"

I saw the "Chairperson" and thought "Whitewash" or should that read "Blackwash".

Oh yes, just another item on 'the Agenda' designed to draw in those already brainwashed by many in authority.
How does cricket or anything else survive when it is so blatantly racist, misogynistic, ***ist, elitist etc., etc.

LIke everything else, it has its core of "we are offended' observers.
MY missus always gives a warning by saying:- " I am going to say something now which you may or may not find offensive. That is your choice entirely, however, it will not stop me speaking my mind so just get on with it, life goes on."
