    Recruitment is working overtime again with a new face nearly every day. Laarson is a young winger, to add to the attacking options.

    With the size of the squad, there must be some sales planned?

    I'm fast losing count on just how many Burnley Football Club players feel they have a chance of making the 25 man announced EPL squad.

    The Clarets have now made nine new signings this summer, although two of them were former loanees from last season whose deals were made permanent namely Jordan Beyer and Michael Obafemi.

    Dara O’Shea, Lawrence Vigouroux, Zeki Amdouni, James Trafford, Nathan Redmond and Luca Koleosho have also joined Bruun Larsen in making the switch to East Lancashire.

    How on earth is VK going to fit them all in?

    Post Benfica match I looked on the Eagles fans forum, first off it was who the f*ck are Burnley and secondly buy their goalkeeper!

    So many arrivals I’m practically submerged in the duck pond breathing through a reed. Raving genius or footballing lunatic I do not know BT but I cannot wait to see how VK lines us up against City on August 11. Maybe we should have a thread “Guess the starting XI”?
