Looks good this lad. Dominant, quick, intelligent. Also knocking on the door of French national team squad. Has a goal in him too. All depends if EH likes his character and can fit in, wouldn't cost the earth either with Everton sniffing around as well, what 15 million?

His comments in the article appear to suggest he's got that team ethic mentality EH favours.

Price is good, even if we spend £25m on the lad, he's 24 and got a long career ahead of him as a CB.

I see Inter want him to replace Stefan de Vrij/Skriniar?

yeah I saw that they're in the mix for the lad however his comments are focused on the Premier League, no mention of Serie A. He's looking to cement his place in the French national team, exposure from the Premier League coverage and us playing in the Champions League will help him achieve that.

Be quality addition to the squad

‘I have a lot of ambitions, to be honest. I’m just on my way – for sure the Premier League excites me a lot.

‘I feel it’s a league that I can perform in really well and it can bring me to the top. It’s probably the best league in the would. I feel if I have the chance it’s going to help make me become the top player I want to be.

‘That’s exactly what I need for the next step. I’m a challenger, a competitor, a winner. I have big ambitions in football and outside football. I want to be a really big player.

‘I really want to look at myself in 20 years and be proud of what I did. Let’s see what happens and I will give 100 percent with any team I play with.

‘I’m the type of guy who wants to win everything. I know individually what I can bring but I know how to support my team mates. This is something I am really proud about. I still need to improve but I fee I’m in a good way of doing that.’

Looks and sounds good but we've had a lot of that this window.

Based on what is written here, very happy to have him but I don't really know enough of him.

Great to have so much interested in the right sort of players. Young, ambitious, hard working professionals. High ability ceilings to become worldies...

Million miles from Jeff Hendrick and missing out on Hamza Choudry. What a joke we were...
