    Spanish own goal…

Anyone see Spains own goal last night in the Womens World Cup? A player passed the ball back to her goalie from practically the half way line and it went in,why the chuff do players pass as far back as that when they are supposed to be attacking, the goalie had moved positions but surely they could have stopped the ball as it was hardly a rocket of a shot, any one witnessed a ridiculous goal whilst watching a game?

There was a classic one a few years back in the last game of the season. An on-loan goalie scored in the final seconds of the game thereby saving his team from relegation (cannot for the life of me recall what team it was).
