For some reason, Alan Pace has said that the Sky programme is not about raising the profile of the club. To that, I would say “why not”?

If it brings in additional investment that has to be a good thing. The more pockets of money we have available to us, the better.

Obviously the focus is on American investors. That has to be good. The US economy is massive and there are many companies and individuals with very deep pockets.

The Americans love a “rags to riches” story, so little, old Burnley could pull on quite a few heart-strings over there.

Be interesting to know just how much this lot and JJ have actually invested in money terms, and how is it being used, to pay down debts or has it gone to finance the incomings, or what. It will have to remain an interesting question though, because Mr Pace and ALK like to keep this sort of info to themselves.

Any talk of ALK, Alan Pace and US based Wonga certainly brings out the curmudgeonly strait in you mon ami. Why?

I ask a simple question mon ami, how much wonga is being invested and to what use is it being put. Perfectly reasonable question, nothing contentious at all, why do you find it objectionable ?

We have explored this topic before at some length sinkov. ALK have arranged a credit line of around £100 million secured against assets which belong to Burnley Football Club.

At the time of counting I've got ten digits held up, my socks and shoes are off and the abacus is swinging. I've stopped counting at the £250 million mark.

Right now bean counting is off my agenda, Manchester City are next up at Turf Moor and I can't wait. The 7 year-old grandson's excitement is totally off the chart.
