At some point we have to release some money

Yes I’m in agreement with what Shads has recently said about supporting players no matter where they come from.
But at some point the directors have to spend.
At some stage there has to be a priming of the pump.

Transfer money came in before the start of last season - I’m expecting a large proportion of that to be spent on young talented strikers.
I don’t want the club “to go crazy” as Mr Conway once famously said - but I do want to see progress.
We ain’t done bad so far - but relatively nowt has been spent yet and the cupboard is still fairly bare.

The Directors do not spend their own money, they spend the club's money.

The club is skint, tenants with no cash reserves. Day to day expenditure exceeds income. To survive before we even consider buying we need to sell first---Styles, Phillips, Connell. That income will be in instalments.

The Directors have a stash of redeemable Share Certificates based on club assets bought last season to keep cash flow going but that card has been played and there is no value left in the club to allow further sales.

Good Luck with that one YN , alternatively if you want to support a club who splashes the cash then I'd recommend Manchester City , it's only an hour away .
