Looks like the latter 2 may leave us this window leaving 3, can't see any of em getting much game time. Should we look to move these on also? or would there be a benefit to keep?

Whilst it is good to have some experienced players around, it is only a matter of time before all of them leave. I don’t think there would be too much interest in Cork or JayRod except at a lower level. I’m all for freeing up the salaries to pay younger, better prospects. Expensive bench warmers really serve no purpose.

i think JRod still has something to offer and you know you will always get 100% effort from him.

I'd keep them all, it's a 14 man game this season, we're going to be playing 100 plus minutes a game, and we only have to be better than three other teams, they are still not bad players at bottom end PL level and their experience could be invaluable.

It's only 12 months ago that most of our fans had written Bashley off, and he didn't do too badly for us.

Too true sinky, i wrote Bash off then he came good at YouWould, there's something to be said for experience and old fashioned directness.

Fair points re: Ash the bash but that was not in the Prem. I reckon if they are wanted in the Championship and command a fee then they're gone quick time, let's see.

True enough Dave, last season we were in the Championship, this year it's the PL. But I've made this point before, there are vastly different levels in the PL and we aren't competing with those like City, Liverpool and United at the top end. Our PL consists of the likes of Luton, Sheffield United, Forest, Bournemouth, Wolves, Everton etc and our old lags are, imo, perfectly capable of being competitive against these teams and can help keep us up.
