So will the parole board each take personal responsibility if this scum reoffends? I hope he’s sussed out by the public and the old eye for an eye comes into play - even paint dubbed in the eyes! Horrific and needs a lethal injection!

The horrific Jamie Bulger case raises the thorny question of nurture v nature and whether someone can be "born evil".Despite generally agreeing with the nurture argument, I personally always thought the latter in Venables's case. Regardless, however, of which side you stand on regarding the cause of such heinous behaviour, the results are the same. Given his history it is pretty unfathomable that anyone should recommend he be put up for parole again. Sanity may yet well prevail if the board refuse it however.
