Maybe he hasn't lost faith in the project like someone suggested in another thread

He's just signed a new deal, let's assume he's still eager to play for the club and be an important part of the project. Still, when he scored and didn't look his normal, happy self immediately, I did start to wonder if maybe he's taken the Twitter-criticism-bullsh!te to his heart and can't let it go.
