The problem is, it’s been stated Dens would be sold to help fund any new stadium, it’s the gap In between when we will have to share with someone

Read in paper today that keyes and nelms close to a deal to purchase dens back, would be great if they ploughed cash into renovating the stadium.but
The article says its all part of the plan for the new stadium at campy.
I know islay rros and others have been very sceptical and rightly so with the actual timescale for no much to happen.
Have they had good intentions but rek its a no go?
Could they change plan and develope dens
Do they actually think this will happen eventually?
I dont want this post to end up like the usual, slate the board.
We get that.
But what is the end game as they have obviously spent cash on this and what are the benefits to anyone just treading water?

Stadium or two sided stadium gets built they make money from overall development and walk.
Dosent get built ....they walk cutting " losses "
As I've said stadium development good for owners potentially not great for a lot of the loyal 5 or 6k.
As I've said I'll never buy a season tic for a new stadium and will pick and choose.
No really handy for a lot of folks pre and post match socialising but will be able to give old firm as many tics as they want to counter our crowd drop.
Dundee belong at Dens, in the heart of the town.
We would be the biggest club in Scotland to move stadium, st j initial success a lot of that down to a charismatic manager and financially a success.
Falkirk......no really a success, half completed ground
ICT......success on the field but off its no great.
If they buy back dens at the reported 750k would there be much profit in selling the land?I have no clue to be honest.
Regarding moving to a new stadium you will always get those against and those for our support is no different.
What we do need though is a stadium that has proper facilities and is not falling down.
As usual the Courier have not done their homework prior to publishing this article.
They should have asked John Nelms and Tim Keyes why Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited borrowed money from the Isle of Man based financial company SohoGreen putting up the whole of the 29.7 acres new stadium development at the former NCR Camperdown grounds as collateral for their loan.
Tim Keyes and John Nelms are directors of Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited and the details of the Charges against the 29.7 acres former NCR Camperdown grounds site now owned by Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited are listed on the Companies House website.
They never did their homework prior to purchasing a majority shareholding in Dundee Football Club Limited.
At the time they stated that FPS purchased a majority shareholding because Dundee Football Club was ‘debt free’.
A quick search on the internet would have easily revealed why.
Dundee Football Club Limited had exited Administration in May 2011 shorn of all their debts apart from football debt’ and the outstanding cost of the Administrators fees which at the Dee4life AGM in the Taxi Club in December 2011 the members present were advised that it was being repaid at a monthly cost of £11,500.
From memory the outstanding sum in December 2011 was around £312,000.
I enclose details of the charges held by SohoGreen over the whole of the 29.7 acres site of the former NCR Camperdown grounds which is also known locally as ‘Campy Nou’ which is owned by Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited. https://find-and-update.company-info...507045/charges
I do not understand why FPS would buy back Dens Park for a reported £750k unless it was to end the lease.
The Dens Park site would probably be used to build low cost social housing once the stands etc were removed. FPS buying back Dens Park and then selling it to a third party is not going to make much of a profit.
In my opinion Sandeman Properties Limited would be better sitting tight until the end of the lease where they are reported to receive over £1 million in rental payments from Dundee Football Club Ltd who are also responsible for any repairs and improvements to the Dens Park stadium.
