    Eddie Howe comments

Eddie Howe's praise for 'dangerous' & 'interesting' Burnley following comfortable Newcastle United win

Read the interesting description of Howe s regarding us and our style of play , best description is we are very open once our press is passed .

We commented on that on here after losing in Germany and yet we still persist - refuse to adjust how we approach the best league we n the world.

I’m kind of the mindset that it’s a battle of wills with VK now - how long can he keep up the facade before he alters to try and win games

Maybe we'll have to wait for the results of a few games against the 'weaker' PL teams army, so far only Spurs have run riot against us and we've held the combined attacking threat of City, United, Newcastle and Villa to just 9 goals over 4 games, we've had two good results against Forest and blown Salford away.

I really don't see any need to change anything just yet. Let's see how we cope with Luton, I might change my mind after that.

I'm really looking forward to Luton game.I think it's going to be a real indicator for what our season will be.

It’s a very interesting concept as many of you on here are of the opinion that we’ll be fine against 12 teams Approx - much as I love the mighty clarets I’m not as confident as that - hence why I posted we need to change - alter our approach or we’ll get picked off an awful lot more times.

I’m completely behind VK and the way we play - it’s a complete 360 turnaround to Dyche football where we never really played creative football but we always stayed in games.

Strange perception and how things have changed after winning most weeks last year. And this not looking like we can compete.

It’s an acid test, a litmus test, a sanity test barrie and I am not looking forward to it in the slightest. It is likely to be 100 minutes of torture. Losing to Luton would be a disaster given we then have to take on Chelsea who are slicing through Fulham like a hot knife through butter as I am typing this.m
