    O/T:- Franny Lee

I see that Franny Lee has died at 79.
He was a great player and very adept at winning penalties!
    RIP.

RIP Franny Lee, who inspired one of the classic commentaries of the 1970s.

Another video which might be a bit of a history lesson for younger fans! Fast forward to 4:45 for the incident that led to two sendings off (no red cards back then, just a dramatic wave of the arm) and 5:50 for the full on fist fight on the pitch that followed.

Two of the most memorable MOTD moments of the 1970s, if not all time.

Never played against Notts, we met Derby in the League Cup just after he retired.

Along with Mick Channon he went on to be a race horse trainer for a while after he retired.

Absolutely fantastic player, as a Liverpool supporter at the time I hated him.
