Do any of you watch Gold Rush on Discovery?

I love this programme.

For over a decade Discovery have followed the same bunch of modern day gold mining teams in the Yukon and other gold regions of the USA and Canada.

I’ve really enjoyed watching people struggle and succeed and people grow into legendary figures within the gold industry.

It’s not reality TV, I don’t find it at all contrived and I look forward to every new season, the latest started last night.

If you’ve never watched it and fancy it I would suggest starting with episode 1 of series 1 and watching the story.

If you love scenery this is another reason for watching, it’s breathtaking.

Once you watch a few and you get hooked there’s many hours of watching ahead of you as there are a fair few spin off series now under the “Gold Rush” brand.

It’s the most watched programme on Discovery the world over, give it a try and a bit of a chance, it’s worth sticking with the first few episodes and getting to know the characters.

Certainly is Dave, self made multi millionaire who arrived in the Yukon with $300 in his pocket 40 years ago.

I’m a big fan of Parker Schnabel, that kid has some b o l l o x, wait until you watch the latest episode! 😮
