    Rugby World Cup

Some proper games this weekend and some heavyweights catching a plane home .

    Today

    Wales v Argentina

    New Zealand v Ireland

    Sunday

    England v Fiji

    France v South Africa

The All Blacks v Ireland game tonight is the one I'm looking forward to .

Won't be easy for England tomorrow by any stretch of the imagination , those Fijians can play and their physicality is frightening .

France v springboks not too shabby either.
I reckon we’ll just have enough to topple the Fijians but face the winner of that fixture I’ve just mentioned in the semifinal
England are a work in progress but nowhere near good enough to beat either of those 2
A kind pool draw for us to get to quarterfinals
France v Ireland final I reckon which would be a classic
All good viewing though animal this weekend
Nice to watch good honest contests with real blokes who give their all, shrugg off injuries, respect the officials & sing their national anthems like they mean it!
Premier league Football is too sanitised, too much acting, too much emphasis on incidents and is making me fall out of love with the game
A refreshing change watching egg chasers this weekend
It makes me love sport again

Thought Argentina deserved the win this afternoon against Wales but it was 50-50 until the last five minutes .

The All Blacks v Ireland game is going to be a real contest and I'm tipping the All Blacks basically based on the experience they have at World Cups even though Ireland are the number one team in the world .

60k Irish fans in the Stade De France tonight so it's going to be some atmosphere .

I haven't a fqkng clue wot's going on most of the time with big oafs jumping on each other -ruck?- or grabbing each other's balls in a group hug-scrum ?- all very gay and public school but it is great to watch. Great sportsmanship and refereeing.

Paddy and Murphy were out one day looking for employment. They look in the Job Center window and saw a sign saying 'Tree fellers' wanted, apply within.

Paddy turns to Murphy and sez, "it's a shame Seamus isn't with us, we'd have got that job"

Some excellent Rugby in that first aif. Full blooded stuff with some excellent skill on show. Two evenly matched teams although you feel the All Black players can pull a rabbit out of the hat at any time which might just give them the edge in this one.

Absorbing game , top quality stuff from both sides .

I'll be honest I'm pulling for the All Blacks simply because Andy Farrell is the Ireland coach .

No respecting RL fan of non Wigan persuasion would think any other way .

A real treat to watch best summed up by the last 30 odd phases of play which was truly epic both defensively and attacking. Credit to both sides for a great game. Really enjoyed that but kind of feel for the Irish.
