Obviously he will improve the midfield - especially if the other midfielders are sorted out and understand their roles better than what they do now.

But - should we be reliant on one player so much?
Because I don’t think we should.
We should not have missed Luca that much with the talent we have in midfield.
But we have.

The playoff team last season including Kitching,Madds and Thomas etc would have struggled in games without Luca and this shouldn’t be underestimated when criticising the defence.

If his injury/ illness is in any way football related eg tendon, we should, as the people who pay his wages by whatever route, be told the basic information as to what the issue is.

If the injury/ illness is a more personal matter then it is private and confidential and we have no right to know much at all.
