The dirtiest player ever or just over zealous - 21 straight reds.

Sergio Ramos received his 21st straight red card playing against Real Sociedad...yes 21 straight red cards!

His record is actually 29 dismissals overall, as the other 8 were for double yellows. Does this make him the dirtiest player ever or does he just go for it without thinking? Lord knows what he's paid in club fines over the years

He should have been sent off against Liverpool in the European Cup Final. Guy Branston would have sorted him.

Makes you wonder how some of the hard men of previous years would get on in today’s sanitised football.

Hunter, Stiles, Smith ( Tommy), Souness, Scholes, they would spend more time off the pitch than on it

Dirtiest or most brutal? If the latter, Andoni Goikoetxea “the Butcher of Bilbao” was one to avoid - as Maradona found out the hard way

Not forgetting England's very own 'Mr. Nasty' in the one and only Gary Lineker

Then again Ramos has 1 World Cup, 2 European Championships, 4 Champions League, 5 La Liga.....and quite a few more whereas Gary won an FA Cup and the 2nd Division with Leicester City

😆 yeah nice guys come last.

Tbh I always thought that the England defeat under El Tel in 96 was down to his relaxed approach with the players. The discipline of the Herman's winning through.

    Ditto England under Robson

    As for Southgate.....well let's see

Nice guys come last? A certain Lionel Messi may disagree with that

    Really?

He’s a highly driven individual, took no prisoners.

    Similarly Ronaldo, and Zidane
