    Another hanger-on

Well, it's good to know that the ER boardroom will be even more cosy with this new addition (and he might even bring his kids to the office now and again!)

    https://motleedsnews.com/news/leeds-...rie-eisenberg/

Seems he's good at maximising revenue, so more fleecing the supporters to be expected (so much for the Supporter Liaison" role, more window dressing, unfortunately)

Good to see the club is looking after the things that really matter, NOW.

Looking at his LinkedIn page Eiesenbergs an accomplished commercial leader being a 'bigger picture' leader.

According to Leeds Evening Post he'll also lead longer term initiatives including the initial stages of ER development.

So cannot agree with your synopsis of a bloke who ran the initial business operations during the Levi Stadia complex opening.

Piece in todays Yorkshire Evening Post, link.

I think your venom might be misdirected. He's not the problem but an extension of the current state of pro sports. He's very good at what he does and it does serve a purpose unlike politicians who fleece the voters for their own personal gain with no benefit to others. When he's done with his work we'll have a better club for it.

The NFL is one of the richest sports leagues in the world (as is the prem). Unlike the prem you don't have to earn you entrance into it. Once in you are a lifer until you sell. However, even with the lifetime pass the 49's have been one of the best and most successful clubs for decades. You don't achieve that unless you have people that know what they are doing and are very good.

    my 2 cents.

Something like that. Little point in having someone who can maximise revenue if the playing side isn't up to scratch, not that seems to have occurred to the powers that be.

If the 49ers want to bring across best practice from the US it can’t be any worse than what we had over the previous 3 years.

"Best practice from the US", really? The sub-prime mortgage fiasco that directly led to the 2008 financial crash that has cost us ALL (apart from the mega rich, like the 49-ers investors, who never live in the real world), a political system that allows someone like Donald Trump to become President of the most powerful nation on earth. Best practice my f00king ar5e, the ability to maximise profit for the select few at the expense of the majority more like. We really want to be another Scum?
