How the hell did Tyson Fury win that fight?

He was decked, outfought, beaten from every conceivable way but yet the judges gave the fight to him…..why?

It’s all about the money… I hope Usyk totally humiliates him!! Bring this fight on.

You said it….all about the money. Ngannau was holding back towards the end as he knew he wasn’t allowed to win. It would’ve blown the megabucks Usyk fight otherwise.

Judges prefer boxers that attack and not just stand in middle defensive. Francis had more big hits but not more punches. It was Fury having to lead. Though he looked slow and not sure how much he did in training or where he had to start from given his rest period.

I'm not convinced Fury did enough to get a 96-93 card by one judge, but maybe 6 rounds to 4, which one judge did with 95-94 Fury. The other judge gave 95-94 Francis with a 5 rounds each, which is fair enough.

True if this was a 'real' fight with title on the line his reaction would have been different. Unlike that farce of a contest with the youtubers at least Francis can box, he should get a chance to fight again. Maybe Dubois or Wilder first then winner of Usyk Fury.
