Thread: Beverley Knight - Bridgewater Hall.

    Beverley Knight - Bridgewater Hall.

Went to see the Wolverhampton soul diva at the the Bridgewater Hall last night, she was totally brilliant.

Great show and what a wonderful venue. Never been to the Bridgewater Hall before, what a fantastic building it is, wonderful acoustics and provides a perfect viewing arena.

Lightened my Gaza mood no end.

She is a smashing performer BT, and the hall is a smashing venue in which to play.

I was spectacularly impressed with the venue and we booked into the Premier Inn which is virtually next door. We had a great day all round but the wife is suffering from an excess of cocktails this morning!

It's Warsaw and Dresden all over again Balan.

Sadly, neither Hamas or the IDF give a $hit about the civilian population of Gaza.

IDF carries out extensive strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. Both terrorists get what is coming to them ,remember action- reaction its a natural law.

I do not think the IDF, had anything to do with East Germany and Poland, wait let me check on it, methinks you had better check on it too?

I think they learned if you bomb the f*ck out of the civilian population and reduce the area to look like Hiroshima after a nuclear bomb attack there really is not much left to argue about Balan.

How does this thread go from one of the most wonderful female voices in the music industry to Gaza ? Me and Mrs M had tickets to go and see her in concert at St David’s Hall, in the Welsh capital but it was postponed and rearranged for another venue here ,in 12 months time. We were really disappointed. Turns out that St David’s Hall( voted recently as one of the best 10 music venues in Europe) is now closed for 18 months due to a concrete problem when the building was constructed 40 years ago, and it will take that long to fix it. Looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer.

I suppose around 400 civilians a day being bombed to death by an enemy intent on ethnic cleansing might just take precedence over reporting the soulful vibes of the delightful Ms Knight malwayne.

I was actually hoping the thread would have been about her performance, what songs she sang etc so that I could have learnt something about what to expect next time we see her perform.
