Thing is what have the Birmingham board allowed Rooney to have as a get out clause?

If they haven’t been diligent his lawyers will strip-Birmingham to the bones if they attempt to sack him

Oh dear, another game another defeat
I do feel a bit sorry for their fans. Jasper Carrott won’t see anything amusing here at all

    Nor sympathy for Birmingham.

A manager who failed at Derby (albeit in bad circumstances) but beyond his name certainly hadn't done anything to warrant a job over a manager who had seemingly been doing wonders.

If they sack him I'll laugh, if they end up near the bottom I'll laugh.

I feel for the fans of good clubs with fans who don't get beyond their station who have to suffer horrendous ownership decisions.

Don’t see how he failed at derby. They had a points deduction and he got them playing some good stuff on no budget.

I love how the English love to slate anyone who have made anything of themselves, frank lampard, Steven gerrard, Wayne Rooney. Just love to see them fail.

Ar well there’s plenty of foreign managers failing with less media attention.

    9-2 Taylor is tempting.

It's because they're getting managerial positions based on how good they were as players. Lampard's 2nd stint ar Chelsea is the best example of this. And what exactly did Eustace do wrong at Birmingham? They were 6th when he left

Wayne Rooney has quit as Derby County manager, admitting the club needs someone with "fresh energy" to lead them in what is an uncertain period regarding the ownership.
