Slocombe 7 - A few good saves especially first half.

Cameron 5 - I don't want to be jumping on the crap defence bandwagon but I have been saying it all season. I don't think he's very good at any part of defending apart from heading.

Rawlinson 5 - I didn't think the positional changes caused that many problems and thought he did ok at LCB. Sloppy ball into Bostock for the penalty though.

Brindley 4 - not noticeably worse than any of the other defenders and swept up nicely a few times. Drove out of defence with ball at feet once and I would like to see him do that more often, otherwise what's the point of having a diminutive right back playing there. Loses a point for costing me YAPs with the injury time nonsense with Austin.

Jones 5 - went missing first half, got his mojo back second half.

Nemane 6 - well taken goal, not much else.

O'Brien 7 - Along with Slocombe was for me the only other player to do himself justice first half. Is hitting form after a run of games. Seems to be the de facto captain, like the way he *******ed Cameron for a sloppy pass on the 10 minute mark.

Bostock 5 - a terrific ball to Langstaff but not enough to make up for quite a lot of sloppiness. A rare off day for the big man. From the not very close up view on iFollow I thought he was unlucky for the penalty but he didn't protest too much so who knows.

Crowley 5 - couple of nice moments but not on it. Silly decision to hold on to their player for the penalty, just be more switched on and be first to the loose ball, no?

McGoldrick 5 - didn't do much of note, seemed to be getting frustrated.

Langstaff 6 - good finish, could have had another with the close range effort (knee?), but a little bit off the pace apart from that.

Subs - who cares, they were pretty anonymous too, apart from Austin who distinguished himself by getting into a muddle for the last goal and gets a 4 mainly for costing me YAPs.

One of those games when almost everyone has an off day. You are almost certainly gonna lose. We managed to get back to 2-2 after being outplayed but still found a way to lose.

Nothing else to do on days like today than look at the big picture and say we are doing better than OK. But there are a couple of worrying aspects to this team.

Would agree with most of these but thought Cameron was the one who brought Jones more into the game 2nd half with his runs and creating space
Nemane had a decent game,he kept beating the left back who kept fouling him and was very lucky to stay on the pitch - for instance should have been booked in the early minutes when he pulled Nemane back and there were 4/5 more and was up there with Slocombe and OBrien
Austin cost you your YAPS not Brindley poor control

I’ve read that Slocombe dropped the ball for the third goal, is that right?

Slocombe 6 - Keeps doing OK as his goals conceded per game keeps going thru the roof
    Cameron 6 - Really wasn't too bad.
Rawlinson 5 - Should have been given a chance at CB today
Brindley 4 - It's sad, but if he can't prove his worth in his own position it's over
O'Brien 7 - Is this 6th season as a Notts player his best? I think so
Bostock 7 MoM - Thought he was the one holding it together for us
Nemane 7 - A mixed bag as usual, but gave them a lot to think about. Nice goal.
Crowley 6 - Tidy enough but nothing special today
McGoldrick 4 - Probably his worst game in a Notts shirt
Jones 6 - Came into the game well in the 2nd half.
    Langstaff 6 - Very poor 1st half

    Subs
Austin 4 - Involved in giving 2 goals away
    Macari 7 - should've been starting
Gosling 4 - Proving to be as consistent as Matty Palmer
Chicksen 5 - Not much chance to impress
Morias 4 - Was used as a sub but didn't actually go on the pitch

He pushed out a cross to the back post under a lot of pressure from their tall lads. Trouble is he pushed it to the penalty spot. Unfortunately Crowley fouled their man getting to the loose ball

Slocombe 7- Made some great saves
    Rawlinson 6-
    Brindley 4
    Cameron 4
    Bostock 5
    JOB 6
    Jones 6
    Nemane 7
    Langstaff 6.5

Couldn’t see if he dropped it or got a poor punch on it either way it wasn’t good.

A little different view from me compared to above. Difficult to score as once again it was a tale of two halves:

Slocombe 7 - he's not the answer, he's not good enough to challenge at top end of League Two , one mistake but had no chance with the goals and saved us from a heavier defeat.
Cameron 5 - mixed bag. The starting on the right was a surprise and didn't work
Rawlinson 3 - sorry but no. Commitment is there obviously but clearly at fault for their first plus he showed the usual uncomfortableness in position and lack of pace and a poor touch a poor passing. Sorry but no more.
Brindley 6 - unlike most thought he was out best of a bad bunch at the back. Should knock off a point as he cost me predicting the correct score for the first time.
Jones 6 - got absolutely no change out of the fullback first half but certainly did second half. Hard to rate but will go with a 6.
Nemane 7.5 - our biggest threat. Better than JJ in first half and combining with Crowley second half was an absolute menace and did plenty of good work. Can't moan at him not talking on players today and lovely control, composure and finish.
O'Brien 4.5 - not awful but not good enough today. Just a little slow to the action.
Bostock 6.5 - don't blame him for the penalty , but blame him for another goal where he wasn't strong enough like against Mansfield. Did provide composure and structure and as usual makes the right pass so often.
Crowley 6 - Missing in action first half, second half they struggled to contain him so a 6.
    McGoldrick 4
Langstaff 6.5 - scored one with a clinical finish, missed one really good chance, and had one well saved.. Touched the ball once in the first half.

Alison got a free kick for less at lunchtime for Liverpool although Sam would have been better punching it rather than trying to catch it
