    New signings January

So come on then - we’ve debated if VK should get the money, now let’s pick a player/ players or style of player we need in the window to give us a glimmer of hope

It’s going to happen I think a roll
Of the dice is coming to see if we can cement our stay in this league

Tbh I think if by a miracle we could get this job done and survive we would be different again next year and with recruits much stronger for this season.

Sorry army, the squad is full and named we would have to shift some to bring some new faces in. Players like Ramsey, Churlinov and Massengo, Delcroix and Tresor are hardly kicking a ball.

I think your question should be, "Who are we shifting on in January?" Starting with Weghorst I suggest..

There must be a loan player coming in from Newcastle if BT's voting theory is right, and I would imagine we'll be shipping out a few on loan as well, quite a few clearly not impressing Vinni at all.

Just illustrates what a shocking transfer window we had in the summer.

I well remember me and thee and many others crucifying Garlick and Dyche for their last minutes trolley dashes. Those were the days eh mon ami?

They did occasionally pick up some bargains, I think Michael Keane was one. And whatever happened to him, his career has gone backwards at a rate of knots hasn't it. From England to Everton Stiffs in not that long at all.

His £80k a week wage will more than compensate mon ami.

As you say BT but I can’t see us not doing something, as if he doesn’t know by now what’s needed against what we have - the games up

We need imo 3 players a midfielder who’s athletic - quick and a decent footballer - striker who can keep the ball at the right end of the pitch and bring Amdouni into player in and around the oppositions box.
And a centre back with experience and know how at this level.

We’ve got access to money BT - just my view I think we need the three to give us a chance and they can’t be - they might be able to do a job type players - we need the three and or he needs to let those he’s brought have a go and accept we’ll go down.

He’s right not to panic at the minute as there are 5 clubs who are poor so I get his position, but we really need a run of results to alter our outlook as I think all the it’s alright talk only lasts so long.

If we have players who can’t cut it who can go
On loans then so be it - or sold. Tbh.

I’ve seen nothing from Benson zaroury to make me think they’ll come up to premiership standard as yet anyway - could be benson s day tomorrow though super sub last 15 mins and a benny special top corner.

I know most think we’ll get mullered but it has to change some time and a scruffy 1-0 is my thought.

We have that striker already. He would help us out so much, also defending set pieces. Maybe VK could develop him into a player that don’t piss off his diva teammates?
If VK can get more money to spend in January he is one hell of a salesman! By his own calculations the team won’t gel before Christmas. How we can string together a few match winning performances before that is hard to believe after watching the ones we’ve had so far. But I would love to be proven wrong!
