The Moody Blues were a great band but I must admit that I preferred them with Justin Hayward. Wings, on the other hand, were in my opinion, terrible; Band on the Run, awful and as for that dirge Mull Of Kintyre, the less said the better! Nevertheless, RIP Denny Laine.

I read today that it was him in Denny Laine and the Diplomats, which also included Roy Wood and Bev Bevan later of The Move

I was born in the wrong era perhaps. Much prefer most of the older stuff compared to todays music. That said I would say I have an eclectic love of many genres, so can’t rule out any particular decade. It just seems the 70’s, 80,s and perhaps lots of the 90’s was the better decades.

Love jazz, classical and even some modern opera, so cannot be to anti to much to be honest. Like it or leave to others I guess.

    RIP Denny Laine.
