This has made me smile …. Great news …. Now apply it to all the clubs who have broken their spending rules!

    In Tony Stewart we trust

Craziest think for me is they breached the ALLOWED losses of £105m !

My view on fair play is that an owner should be allowed to spend whatever they want as long as they do fund the spend and don’t put the club in debt. If Ryan Reynolds wants to spend his own money on Wrexham why not, just as i should be allowed to spend £100m on RUFC if i win the lottery.
But owners should not be able to run up debts and then potentially walk away.

Plus mega billions to throw at any legal charges.
What will be interesting now is that the 3 relegated clubs from last season have said they intend to sue Everton.
    This could get really messy.

    10 points?

not nearly enough and no real deterrent when compared to the mega millions at stake

My postie is a massive Everton fan. This week he's been unbearable following their 3-2 win at Palace and our 5-0 at Watford. Really looking forward to tomorrow's delivery!!

Touché. One of my neighbours is a toffee , married to a Lpool fan. Neither are quite sure who or what Rotherham is though as it’s some distance away

Do you receive all of your post or does some of it go ‘missing’

I think that might well depend on what I say to him tomorrow!!

Although they've moved to 2nd bottom, I can't see it affecting their ability to avoid relegation.

Although Everton will probably manage to stay up, it reminds me that they haven’t been relegated from the Premiership since 1950/1. You’d have to be well into your 70s to have seen them play in the second tier.

It doesn’t give them any god-given right to be there, of course.

For the record, I think only Arsenal have played for longer in the top flight - their last relegation came in 1913 according to Google.
