When Odabert scored i thought "Ah well, we've equalised first" but when we got the second, I dared to dream and the dream came true. Sod the prediction league, this was an unbelievable result.

A fantastic result indeed. I thought we would be good enough for a draw at least given 1) we have played better away from home this season and 2) Fulham had been involved in a midweek Cup game at Everton. The Odabert goal was special and the clean sheet was a bonus. Trafford was in very good form again. We may still get relegated but if we can get anything from our home game v Liverpool and the trip to Villa all may not be lost.

From the Guardian: "In a game free from VAR controversy, Welch issued three yellow cards, two to Fulham and one to Burnley in a game that lifted Kompany’s team clear of the bottom three following their third win of the Premier League season. “We have to live for those moments,” said the Belgian. “The key part is players growing. It takes time.”

    Good to know!

I trust no-one gave out the Liverpool result before you watched MOTD kc. I did like the commentators aside during the game “on such moments matches are won and lost (pause) and drawn”. Quite so.
