Good man, well done, a nice story in today's footballing merry go round.
In today's era of players rarely staying anywhere for more than a couple of seasons I feel the MK Dons captain deserves recognition for his record breaking 771 appearance for them on Boxing day.

You've got to admire anyone who stays at a football club for that length of time. That's true commitment and loyalty. It's a pity there aren't a few more like him, especially managers who say they are in it for the long haul.
Well done to the original Wimbledon Plough Lane fans who stuck loyaly by the original club when they moved 70 miles to Milton Keynes and were central in creating the new AFC Wimbledon now playing in the Fourth Division (presently 8th) in their new stadium. MK Dons are a point above them in 7th. Always "tasty" between the fans when they play each other. I was at the Hockey Stadium when MKD played their first league game against Barnsley.
Lewington must be the only player still playing who played for both old and new teams.
I see it has been revealed that Blair wanted to take the Wimbledon franchise to Belfast to become Belfast Utd trying to use sport to help political connections between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK.
